We are thrilled for our exclusive agreement with Tuxedo by Sarno! The Sarno family has suited men for their special occasions since Ralph Sarno, a master suit maker, immigrated to the United States from Italy in the 1920s and began practicing his trade. In 1940, he founded Sarno’s Custom Tailor Shop and Sarno and Son has spent over 75 years providing formalwear for life’s most special occasions.
House of Maya Tuxedo by Sarno prides itself on carrying on the Sarno family tradition, connecting our clients to the best rental formalwear and creating a customer experience and education that is unparalleled.
Tips for selecting the perfect tuxedos
- Don’t wait until the last minute! While the lead time isn’t nearly as long as it is for a special order bridal gown, you shouldn’t wait until just a couple of weeks before the wedding to order your men’s formalwear. This is especially true if you are getting married between April and June when both weddings and proms are in their peak.
- Make sure you are properly measured. Our tuxedo experts here at House of Maya have been trained to measure the men in your party properly, but if they live out of town or decide to call in their measurements for another reason, please be sure they have visited a reputable menswear dealer to assure a perfect fit.
- Coordinate with your fiancé first! We love the idea of some element of surprise in the menswear, but you’ll want to make sure that the entire wedding has a cohesive look, so if you are shopping without your partner have a general conversation first about styles, colors, etc.
